Every investor wants a good return, but at times a line is crossed when a Melvin Capital type hedge fund intentionally manipulates the news and the sentiment by undercutting valid and thriving businesses, case in point is AMC, it clearly has made a robust surge, lauched several blockbusters, and yet several hedge funds are so backwards with their short positions they are bending every rule and law to not end up insolvent. I have seen this behavoir well before the 2008 implosion and at this point the SEC needs to crack down on these leaches of valid and stable businesses. Your attention to this matter will be closely monitored and with midterms promising many changes, all this will be thoroughly thrashed out, with consequences for those who turned a blind eye to the aforementioned systemic market manipulation.
