October 8, 2022 I support the initiative to prohibit fraud, manipulation, and deception in swaps. Swaps already present a method for obfuscating positions and risk. Swaps allow bad actors to pass risk off to government backed institutions and ultimately make taxpayers bail them out. Greater transparency and consequences for bad actors are needed.
