I need an end to naked short selling, synthetic share creation, dark pool trading, deep OTM married puts as way of controlling security prices, rehypothecation of shares, the use of ETFs as manipulation of stock prices, hiding of derivative swap options overseas to hide abuse and possible FTDs. The ability for a Market Maker to also be a hedge fund should stop.
As a member of the US Army, I'm embarrassed to see how weak our financial system is based off of hedge funds using these tactics to make bad bets and rip off hard working people with a dream for a better future. I'm appalled at the fact that hedge funds can manipulate the market here in the states while affecting our people that I swore to protect had previously been banned in other countries for their illegal activities. Sure they get fined, but for fractions of a percent of what they basically stole. This NEEDS to be stopped. The only way I can see change is permanent bans on trading and jail sentences. Otherwise it literally pays to be a criminal. This leads me to question who I'm really supposed to fight for. The 1% or the people like me. What I'm thinking is because enough people now understand what is happening, if this system doesn't change, there will be a revolution. Will printing new money and letting the financial terrorists continue their crime be worth it in the long run? Let's do the right thing and end and punish naked short selling, synthetic share creation, dark pool trading, deep OTM married puts as way of controlling security prices, rehypothecation of shares, the use of ETFs as manipulation of stock prices, hiding of derivative swap options overseas to hide abuse and possible FTDs before this country completely turns on itself.
