Currently, due to dark pools and internalisation, I have very low faith in the veracity of the US stock market. And am sure I'm not alone in that. These proposed rule changes are a good start to restoring trust, I hope they are passed and enforced. I appreciate the effort that the SEC is making to restore trust under Gensler's leadership.
