Dear Ms. Countryman,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment or this rule, S7-32-10.
It would be great and -- evidently well-spent taxpayer money -- if the SEC could investigate the illegal creation and provision -- or novation -- of tokenized securities by FTX for certain stocks such as Gamestop (GME).
Securities such as Gamestop's shares, for instance, are unfortunately shorted into the ground by certain market makers such as Citadel, that are clearly subject to a conflict of interest since their other business is a hedge fund.
Successfully preventing the novation of securitized tokens -- or tokenized securities -- and the their packaging as swaps as well as swaps-based securities, such as total return swaps and bullet swaps, would allow accurate price discovery of securities and other stocks in the meme stock basket.
It is also high time that the SEC enacts the existing securities rules.
I am positive that we will see significant change for the positive when it comes to transparency and accountability some time in the next 84 years. Because that is how long we are prepared to hold our favorite stock.
Sincerely,
Anne Goddard, tax advisor
