As a fellow participant of the economy (and obviously US markets), I believe that any possible fraud, manipulation or deception should be addressed and am therefore in favour of enacting rules towards that end.
My only concern is if there will be a proper plan of action for enforcing these rules and regulations.
Rules and regulations are meaningless without proper enforcement and accountability. Transparency is also important for when these rules and regulations are broken.
