I am encouraged by the fact that the SEC appears to be putting end to the blatant abuse of a system rigged against the retail investor.
Dumb Money is over, there is a whole new generation of investors that will not accept just putting there money somewhere and hope that it grows. There are tactful decision being made that are completely irrelevant if whatever hedge fund or MM needs to make money and therefore control the price.
We all want a free and fair market where my money can swing the pendulum for a stock price based on company fundamentals and performance and not some political agenda or money making excercise for the 1%.
Go read Superstonk on Reddit for a day and tell me that this isnt needed.
Now fix the fact that our entire economy is propped up by student loan debt and truly make people free.
