I'm in favor of this rule, and anything that gives more transparency and fairness to the market. It will be greatly appreciated by retail investors like myself. However, I would like to see these rules enforced, and the penalties more aligned with the huge problems that these misconducts generate. The penalties should be at least equivalent to the amounts in question, plus fines on top of that, otherwise, they just write it off as a cost of doing business, which sometimes generates them millions and leave the retail investors empty-handed.
