-As a retail trader, I have lost faith in the integrity of our markets. To me, it is clear that the winners and losers in the stock market are determined solely by market makers such as hedge funds, investment banks, and Wall Street elites. It is critical that these market makers be held accountable for abusing the market through manipulative and illegal tactics such as security-based swaps, naked shorting, cellar boxing, and use of dark pool exchanges. They are solely responsible for jeopardizing the trustworthiness of our markets and our nations economy at large. A trustworthiness which generations before me worked tirelessly to establish and maintain. I also believe that the individuals who are responsible for using these deceptive and manipulative tactics be brought to Justice. My financial future and the financial future of millions of Americans is dependent on a fair and free market with clearly defined rules that everyone must follow, regardless of how much capital, power, or influence they have.
