Hello,
As an individual retail investor and \"small fish\", I operate in the market with a certain level of faith and trust in the system that everyone is on an even playing field and trading under the same rules. If we were playing \"Rock, Paper, Scissors\" and betting on the results, both competitors need to \"shoot\" at the same time to make it a fair game.
It turns out that this proposed rule is actually helping the markets live up to retail expectations. The fact that security swaps are not already operating in this fair, equitable, and transparent way is all that other retail traders like myself need to know: the stock market is not made for us. It is built and regulated to empower large banks, market makers, prime brokers, and the FED to swindle and take advantage of individual investors. The design of this entire system is a giant boot stepping on small ants like myself.
If we want fair price discovery, competitive money markets, and company value exploration and expansion, the rules need to be altered and the field needs to be leveled. Without this proposed change, I do not have faith in the US Stock Markets for retail investors.
