Over the past year, Ive learned things about the way the US stock market actually works that have seriously eroded my trust and confidence in its ability to improve the financial prospects for the average citizen who plays by the rules. The more I learned, the more it seemed like a completely rigged, opaque, predatory system the only benefits those who are some combination of (already) wealthy, powerful/influential and unscrupulous.
Prohibition S7-32-10, if approved and honestly, rigorously enforced, would restore a lot of my confidence in our stock market. And it would help me believe that we have regulators who have the desire and ability to ensure that the market is fair and free and uncompromised.
I sincerely encourage and hope for its approval and implementation.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Flanagan
