Hello SEC,

I’m writing today in order to express my opinion on the markets as I’ve seen and experienced.

When I earned my masters degree, and even in my associates degree, I was educated in the laws of, “supply and demand”. I was taught that this concept was foundational; however, as I continue educating myself in the current financial markets, it seems that, any thing but that FOUNDATION is true.

I’m concerned; I feel that price discovery is being manipulated, and I’m not comfortable pointing to one thing or the other, but at the same time, I’ve heard Market makers talk about “infinite liquidity”. It’s scary to think that regulating bodies have allowed this.

I’m sure I don’t have to explain what the supply demand foundation of economics does, but I also feel like some just want to pay the fine, take the penalty, and continue making more than it cost for them to cheat and manipulate or “internalize” the facts, in order to front run movements in the market.

I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears, but… what the heck, I may as well try.

Sincerely,
Tom
