I fully support and urge the SEC to implement this proposal. I believe that this can help increase transparency amongst all market participants and lead us towards a more fair market.
I'm concerned about the movements of several stocks such as Gamestop. The lack of transparency behind what moves these tickers is alarming. $GME trades like it has been cellar-boxed in the $15-25 price channel. Where those who employ this strategy typically require cellar boxed tickers to trade at .0001 increments.
Many other tickers are moving strangely as well. It looks like someone just sets the price such as TSLA AAPL AMZN GME.
Any rules and proposals that the SEC enacts to increase transparency and competition amongst markets is beneficial to all investors. And is a step in restoring trust of investors world wide.
I'm just simple household investor learning about all the fkery that goes on in the markets.
