March 8, 2023 Hello. I am a household/retail investor and am in favor of this rule. Payment for Order Flow should be banned. Off-market routing of retail orders should be banned. Naked short selling should be banned. HFTs trading at decimal points beyond what retail brokerages show to average Joe investors on lit markets should not be allowed. Household investors are disadvantaged when orders may be internalized and front-ran for arbitrage via high frequency trading algorithms used by billion dollar firms, at prices unavailable to retail traders. The price shown on lit markets should be an accurate representation of supply and demand, and I believe this rule is a step in the right direction. Thank you for your consideration.
