February 28, 2023 Brokers need to provide the best pricing possible to household investors. If brokers are able to manipulate the price in order to make money off of investors, this does not provide a level playing field for investors. If brokers need to charge a fee for access to these types of trades, then that is what they should do. They should not be making money on PFOF at the whim of household investors.
