February 24, 2023 I'm totally behind this move for fairness in retail and markets, so please approve this regulation. But let's not forget that the most significant and criminal threat to market integrity is the ongoing acceptance of FAILURE TO DELIVER by supposed market makers, brokers, and other institutions, with no mandatory buy-in. This practice allows retail investors to get robbed in broad daylight and completely undermines free markets and price discovery by enabling behind-the-scenes manipulation of securities, costing billions of dollars and hurting millions of retail investors. Unregulated and unaudited entities like this give way to businesses to defraud the US and the world.
