December 29, 2022 I am a retail Investor. My trades are restricted to the lit exchanges, and all the limitations that come with it, when compared to the dark pools. When looking at internalizers, trading off-exchange, its clear to see that there is a regulatory advantage over those who trade on the exchanges. They can execute orders at any pricing increment - We cannot. The changes that comes with this rule-change mean that retail investors have the opportunity to get the same level of price improvement on-exchange, and change the incentives for retail brokers, and I therefore wholeheartedly support this bill.
