To Mary Shapiro and the SEC,
The ruination of America is being orchestrated by the ability to short equities without ownership of such securities. Our financial collapse is imminent and no Head of the SEC, (Cox, nor you now Mary) will take the actions to eliminate such outrageous trading practices. Are you waiting for nothing to be left to short??? I cannot understand the logic, but as another American that has seen his net worth in his 401K, and other investments, decimated by such practices, I felt compelled to seek an answer on the SEC's lack of action.
Please advise the status of eliminating naked short selling.
