Dear SEC,

As an individual investor, I am writing to express my full support for the proposed rule changes in File S7-32-22. As a retail investor, I value transparency and fairness in the markets. However, the conflicts of interest that market makers seek to preserve are seriously eroding faith in American markets. The routing of retail orders to dark pools by market makers who take positions on the opposite side of retail creates a dangerous conflict of interest.

It is not surprising that these conflicted hedge fund/market makers are now opposing these proposed rule changes, as these rules will ultimately expose and undermine their flawed and unethical business model. Therefore, I strongly urge the SEC to disregard their comments and instead implement these rule changes.

We require markets that everyday investors can rely on and trust, and these proposed rule changes will help achieve that goal.

Sincerely,

Alex Scharfe
