March 19, 2023 Im confused by price improvement in general. When you purchase an investment you want that investment to go higher but with price improvement you are essentially giving everyone a discount, doesnt that drive the price of your investment down? Couple price improvement with Fail to deliver and you can just ignore all the high cost orders? Huh, doesnt seem like thats a good thing for investors. That seems like its good for the short sellers, oh the same people making the markets also short selling?? Weird. Youd think that would be a massive conflict of interest and a huge advantage to market makers. I guess maybe thats why they makes billions in profits when the whole countrys retirement funds and investments are crashing and burning. Please pass this proposal and then continue up with ENFORCEMENT
