January 11, 2023 I strongly support this rule and feel that it would level the playing field between retail and institutional investors. As it stands, price discovery is at the whims of wholesalers and where they choose to route their orders - off exchange or through a lit exchange. This results in skewed pricing which in the worst case can destroy the value of a company when their fundamentals have not changed in any meaningful way. By bringing these orders to auction the SEC can force a level of fairness into our markets that currently does not exist.
