I am very happy about this, and the other recent proposed rule changes. The overhaul of capital markets is long overdue with the modern trading environment being astronomically different from 2005. Far too many loopholes and unregulated areas are used by criminal actors to manipulate markets to their gain increasing order execution transparency is a great first step in fighting corruption and taking away one of the financial terrorists revenue streams (ie front running trades, rerouting to ats/dark pool, etc.). I hope the SEC continues to push for the adoption of regulations that will protect global capital markets and the everyday person who participates in them.
