As a retail investor, it’s hard to understand all of this, but that is by design. Maybe I don’t know how everything works, but it is clear as day that retail traders are being taken advantage of by predatory Hedge Funds with Market Maker privileges. More market transparency is needed to hold these criminals accountable, and harsher punishments–including jail time–is needed to prevent them from front-running our trades, naked shorting to steal from everyday investors, and routing trades in favor of their own investments rather than letting natural price discovery occur. Protecting the markets means protecting the retail investor. Not financial institutions. Thank you for your vigilance.
