As an individual investor I support these changes 100%. Transparency is desperately needed in our current system. While these are certainly not an exhaustive list of changes that can be implemented, it is a great start.
I also understand from reading opposition commments that they mainly focus on the burden it would place on their administrative staff for the added reporting requirements. That cannot be reason enough to avoid transparency. If they need to make changes to their procedures so be it. These firms have some of the most complex algorithmic trading systems in existence, I have faith they can figure out the additional reporting requirements
