To Whom it May Concern,
As an employee who works for a firm that holds a private equity fund, I would be in support of an amendment allowing a “ Knowledgeable Employee” to qualify as an accredited investors for funds related specifically to their knowledge base. For example, as an employee in a lower paying state (Idaho), I do not make enough compensation annually to qualify as an accredited investor, but would like to invest in the funds offered by my firm, and fully understand the risks associated with such an investment.
