To whom it may concern:
My name is Jerel Staten and I am just a regular middle class guy living in rural Utah, trying to live comfortably as I get ready to enter retirement. I feel that we (regular) people of this nation have been and are being sold down the river. I have worked hard to pay off my house and keep my credit balances low, so my life can be comfortable.
Our Nations Financial System is based on the free market policy - supply and demand. As we have allowed people to create giant money funds that can buy (stock, short - long - futures & commodities). Their selling or purchasing has the ability to manipulate markets their way and the Nations Economy pays the price. You are aware that there is always a winner and a looser in every transaction. We are all busy working and doing the things we do best and rely on the SEC and Government to watch out for us.
For the Nation, World and All us regular People, I ask that you Please do all that you can to fix what is going on and put an end to the manipulation. Sincerely, Jerel Staten
