Personally I see a lot of benefits to specific regulations that are narrowly tailored and aid in the protection of people and places. However, the proposed regulations seem to be far to wide-reaching and would impose an undue burdens on companies and our economy. In my opinion the SEC should refrain from these regulations and instead allow the free-market to decide the success or failures of companies.
