During Bush Jr's presidency he deregulated the banks and they decimated our economy. Regular people lost homes, jobs, and businesses and you REWARDED the banks. I'd be in prison for stealing a 500 dollar bicycle! Trump deregulated the banks for his own self interest's after Obama fixed the issues and here we are back at square one only exponentially worse. Our nation is in such a fragile state right now that if the government as a whole doesn't open up their eye's and do their jobs they are in for beyond a rude awakening. Those crazy Trumpist's rolled actual lynches to the Capital!!! Due to the condition of our country and the world you better think REALLY hard about how you handle this because I fear this will turn into a 3rd world occupation by our own troops against rebels who plenty will come from our enlisted armed forces and have access to extremely deadly weapons. The news is bought and paid for and this is obvious to the dumbest people of our nation. It's public knowledge who owns which companies, when interviews are cut, what the anchors are and aren't allowed to say etc. We want a 100% transparent stock market and government. Hedge funds should not even exist. It's like letting the card dealer also be a player at the BLackJack table. The government should run it and instead of white collar thieves being worse than worthless middlemen taking far more than their fair share deliberately cheating and working together. Have the government take those as taxes that benefit everyone! Every trader for the last 20 years will tell you the market is broken and it's because you DO NOTHING TO STOP THEM. What good is a 250k fine if they still make a profit from the illegal activity? Why do they get 1% loans and the people pay up to 20%+? Not only that they can leverage 1 dollar into 10 and WALL ST. can leverage one share in an infinite amount and the SEC does absolutely nothing about it! Who's paid off? I bet their isn't a single person there not a millionaire. The people should have their OWN UN that outranks all 3 branches of government because that obviously has failed miserably. I can only imagine what will happen if during the time of an actual insurrection at the Capital where people were murdered had an occupy Wall St. Movement now. What happens when those same nut jobs stop at one of the ridiculous states with no gun laws and load up on ammo and weaponry? You couldn't control an unarmed crowd! Do you think the NYPD would have any chance against an armed ambush of of lunatics with assault weapons, tannerite, vans full of ammo and ballistic vests and gear? All easily obtained on their drive to Wall St just like they drove to DC? With the high rise buildings and thousands of windows they wouldn't stand a chance and their air assest's would be all but useless. The LAPD couldn't even keep TWO armed gunman properly geared under control! What about more shootings at military bases around the country? Complete chaos! The insurrection just happened 6 months ago and people are still just as ANGRY if not more and many very unstable. You are asking for Occupy NY and riots across the nation if you do not A) fix the problem and B) Jail sentences for EVERYONE INVOLVED OR AWARE of the law breaking. How far do you think you can you push the 99% before they fight back with force after decades of words falling on deaf ears? Did the insurrection that included LEO's teach you nothing?! Wait until Occupy Wall St. and the insurrection wackos join up. SEC hasn't done their job for decades and nor has our government. If you don't do it now I fear for what is to come. I hate guns, I've lived in southern California my whole life and they simply aren't a problem here other than law enforcement themselves murdering people on a near daily basis. Myself nor anyone in my family owns any weapons and have always hated them and thought they should be outlawed completely like Australia. We still do but we now were forced to talk at the dinner table seriously if we are going to need them to defend ourselves. I'm glad I'm not a public figure because if things continue how they are in Congress and the Senate and the 1% are continued to run a plutocracy you are asking to become Russia in the 90s. For China and Russia to be arming our rebels like we arm theirs. All you worthless lawyers and have a government of engineers, scientists, economists. Instead we get regurgitated campaign slogans from racist white politicians who talk a lot and say nothing. I hope there are some people with what should be common sense or we are all in for a world of hurt. You have already ruined the planet for our grandchildren. The planet is literally dying but you damn well better believe humanity will find someone to blame and it's going to be the government and 1%. You are outnumbered 99 to 1.
