Buying stocks on margin, as well as selling short are two investment strategies that have been used by investors for over a century. Leveraged and inverse ETF's are a more modern tool that allow investors to use these strategies in a convenient format without the costs and potential headaches involved in a margin account.
Please do not put restrictions on the use of these products, but let investors decide for themselves which investment products best fit their needs and circumstances. We don't need any more government imposed limitations on investor choice
