Vanessa Countryman,
As a stockholder I should have a say in what happens with the company I have shares in. I heard about this proposal that would make it more difficult to present shareholder resolutions. Company changes
often start with a small group and this new proposed rule would make it more difficult for grass-root company changes, which more often than not are for the advancement of companies and society.
The SEC should be protecting ordinary shareholders not conglomerates that buy up a bunch of shares. Allowing ordinary shareholders to have a say in the company they own is only right and the SEC should be advancing the cause of people not business at the expense of shareholders.
Thank you for your consideration.
