Dear SEC Rule Comments,

I agree, American investors and the public need more accountability from corporations. The SEC’s attempt to curtail shareholder rights is a step in the exactly wrong direction.

We need a robust system of checks and balances between the owners of corporate wealth and companies’ management. require providing for and allowing shareholder input. Proposed rules would make it harder for investors to raise emerging issues with managers, curtailing the rights of stock holders and disavantaging our nation.

The SEC should be facilitating shareholder democracy. This new set of rules should not be put into effect.

Thank yout.

Sincerely,
Jack Weller
