Rule Comments,
I am retired professor with retirements accounts with TIAA/CREF. My portfolio of stocks and bonds is weighted very strongly to corporations that act responsibly on social policy issues such as reforming executive pay, respecting and advancing human rights plus protecting the environment. Shareholder proposals that advance the above objectives are critical for an economy that works for everyone and not just the corporate CEOs. The SEC should insure the right of share holders to submit proposals as part of a democratic process that holds corporate CEOs accountable.
Sincerely,
Jacob Lebowitz
