August 26, 2022 This is objectively good for the global financial markets. I'm glad to see we're finally taking a step toward regulating these clearing agencies. Especially given that they operate for profit, while their boards and committees are rife with conflicts of interest. Any movement away from \"self regulation\" in Wall Street is a step in the right direction for the people. I am whole-heartedly in favor of this proposal being approved and enacted.
