Dear Federal Agency Rulemaking, The State of Iowa collects common information of all counties, cities and schools, based on the same taxonomy. This information should be collected from the state level and then aggregated for underlying municipalities. Scott County, Iowa continues to oppose any unfunded mandates and seeks appropriate tax levy authority to fund such mandates. The County commits to public disclosure of its financial standing through the release of annual comprehensive financial statements, annual budget and popular annual financial report.
