The current lack of clarity currently in the markets has made it incredibly difficult to have any trust in what happens in the day to day operations. I feel that as a regulatory entity the sec should have equal information whether it's a short or long do you can properly enforce rules that will help retail investors be able to find trust in the markets. Without this rule (and increased punishment that actually deter traders from breeding them) you are going to see a large amount or retail leaving the markets
