October 8, 2022 I, as a concerned taxpaying citizen of the United States and a retail investor, am writing in strong support of rule 10c-1, Reporting of Securities Loans. The SEC should take this opportunity to not only protect retail investors, most of whom are citizens of the very government you serve in, but also take this chance to expand their power and reach by beginning to add regulations where there are virtually none. Transparency is the bare minimum and should be enforced to equalize the playing field for all investors and to allow for the public eye to scrutinize and hold individuals and entities accountable.
