As a retail investor I do not appreciate brokers and Market Makers, such as fidelity or Citadel Securities, essentially saying they know what is best for retail investors and oppose these rule changes. I support these rule changes to provide inter day reports for transactions by brokers and other third parties. The only way retail investors have a chance against the big guys is to have access to the same information they have, but that is not always possible, but it is possible if reports are done more frequently for transparency. It is 2022 and it is a shame that we do not have inter day reporting already. If brokers and market makers cannot provide inter day reports in this day and age then they dont have to do it, new brokers and market makers can emerge that can.
