SEC ESG Disclosures File Number S7-17-22,
Dear Ms. Countryman:
I’m writing to urge the SEC to finalize its proposed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investment Funds Disclosure Rule, File No: S7-17-22. I am concerned about the lack of accessible and standardized information on how funds and investment advisers use ESG factors.
I want to feel confident that my money is directed towards funds that sufficiently take into account the environment, workers, and communities, and that those commitments are backed up by detailed disclosures.
Please pass a final rule as soon as possible and protect people like me who are currently saving or plan to save for retirement.
