I am hopeful that the The Securities and Exchange Commission brings greater transparency to the securities-lending market, where short-selling hedge funds borrow shares to bet against companies stocks. This will help combat the illegal practices that have become the norm.
As a retail investor, I continue to be horrified and disgusted by what has been passing as everyday Wall Street practice.
Please pass this. Level the playing field so everyday investors have a chance.
