I am writing toyou in regards to the proposed changes on broker-dealer commissions, in the above referenced file. This is not in the best interests of our clients! As an Investment Advisor Representative, I can tell you that if clients are serviced, they are satisfied. If compensation for service is removed or altered, there is a disincentive to help the client. Generally speaking, this is not a good idea. This will not affect my fee-based business, but not everyone wants fee-based accounts.
