My concern about pricing all mutual funds at net asset value and then letting Broker-Dealers determine the fees is that we'll create another situation in which those who will be well served will be the more affluent investors. If the market drives down the recurring fee that pays for the time of advisors to be of continuing service to mutual fund investors, there will be a possible lack of incentive for continuing service and the less affluent investor will be neglected.
I have been a licensed insurance agent and registered representative for over 38 years and I support new rule 12b-2.
