To Whom It May Concern:
We are a typical middle class family trying to put our kids through college and save for retirement while taking care of our parents. We are invested heavily in the market despite the shame, scandals and corruption that has occurred in the last two and half years.
12b -1 fees provide no benefits to families while lowering their returns, and should therefore be significantly scaled back if not outright eliminated.
This fee is the taxpayers equivalent of the Alternative Minimum Tax(AMT) that was not suppose to hurt middle America but guess what? it does
If part of your mission is to look out for investors, what better way to show it than the elimination of the 12b-1 fluff.
