I think you need to be very cautious with this bill. As a financial advisor, mutual fund trails constitute the majority of my monthly income.
Since the recession, I have had to exist below the poverty line with a second and third part time job to provide for my family. Curbing the mutual fund trail incentive could force me out of the business.
If you think American are financial irresponsible right now, it will be far worse when all your younger finanical advisors leave the business.
