Like many people here, I believe this rule would not be beneficial due to the fact that many of these companies you plan on removing are essential to the market and to us. I myself have 63% of my holdings in dark/defunct companies not because I got caught up in pump and dumps but because this was how myself and many others learned to trade and grew our accounts. Making these dark/defunct companies basically obsolete would harm a great deal of investors and small businesses that do good. While I agree that we should curtail fraud and “pump and dump” schemes I don’t agree that this method would be helpful to the market.
