I feel it is a necessity for the SEC to regulate EIA’s. The ball has been dropped already by not regulating credit swaps and derivatives and I think the sale of equity indexed investments is the next vehicle. It is impossible to not talk about the major indexes and the stock market or comparing to variable investments when selling these investments. This would also put insurance agents on a level playing field with those licensed for securities as too often insurance agents call themselves “financial advisors” with complete disregard toward securities regulation. Thank you.
