As a supporter of enhanced disclosure of nominees to boards of directors, I support the proposed rule on Proxy Disclosure and Solicitation Enhancement.
Increasing disclosures on board diversity will be very helpful in voting for director nominees. I believe that diversity is an important measure of good governance.
It will also be helpful to have available, in proxy statements, more information about director nominees. This is often difficult to know when companies do not print pictures of their directors, or only the initials of the directors' first names.
