I fully support the implementation of Rule S7-12-23. This rule would impose boundaries on large institutions and firms who have enjoyed years of technological advantages over household investors. Not only are the predictive AI, algorithm trades and predictive data operations a huge advantage as they have the ability to predict stock trends, but one could argue that AI trading could mean subtle communications between firm algorithm trades which would create an unfair cooperation between massive investors who would have the capability to sway market trends on a whim. It is only fair that either a) the benefits be made accessible by all parties, household investors included, or b) the practices be banned to level the playing field. As this rule fits option b, I fully endorse the implementation of this rule and encourage similar rules be added to protect small investors like myself.
