I've lost faith in the integrity of the monetary system of this country. I've lost faith in the capacity of the country's political system to solve the monetary problems. I think the corruption is profound, deep, and abiding. I think the consequences we face in the next couple years are grave.
I'm sure Ferdinand Pecora is spinning in his grave.
I'm 43 years old, and I have no faith that my retirement will be funded in dollars, or by securities denominated in dollars. Think about that for a minute.
I'm interested in how communities can deal with a post-dollar America. I'm starting to work on projects that could resolve the problem and provide an improved system. I don't know how far I'll get, but I'm confident that whatever I come up with will be better than the mess you've allowed on your watch.
But, you know, you guys keep on ******* that chicken. Maybe you'll get some eggs.
