I’m writing because my family and I were affected by the economic collapse of 2008, and we don’t want it to happen again.

One way to change the incentives so Wall Street doesn’t collapse our economy again would be for regulators to set up a way for shareholders to grab back ill-gotten gains.

If it turns out that the profits in a given year were built on shoddy practices that become clear in the out-years, those bonus payments should be forfeited.

It is as unbelievable as it is unconscionable that bonuses were, have been and continue to be considered for people who put America's economic safety and, I can even say, national security at risk. These 'Wall Street wonders' should be under indictment, not being patted on the back. These same dirt bags are now sitting in cushy offices or even, in the case of that supreme manipulator of self-interest, John Kasich, sitting in political office helping his banking and corporation buddies to the public's money.

Please do everything possible to control these rapacious, greedy, self-serving criminals.

Thank you for considering my comment,
