I am writing because I am outraged at the greed/profit/selfish practices on Wall Street. My meager retirement savings were badly affected during the Great Recession and have not fully recovered. Because of the flagrant pursuit of greed and profit without regard to the people, I will never put a cent in Wall Street again; they have lost my business. One way that I strongly suggest measures should be taken is to give power to the shareholders, who give them the capital, to have a say on pay and bonuses by voting on these items. Regulation on their practices should be stiff to protect the people, even those who are not as fortunate as I am to invest on the market, from the power they exert as being "too big to fail." The government should eliminate any potential failure that will force the taxpayers to bail them out because otherwise we'll go into the Great Depression II.
